On Wednesday,
February 9th I was inside & heard a noise outside. I figured out how to get outside & found it was the guys up the road fixing the water main break in Palmer. I checked them out for a bit. Then I saw the coolest thing ... a deer!! I ran to it to play, but it ran off. I figured that was part of the game, so I chased it, through the cornfield, across the road to another cornfield, around and around, we had such fun.
But oh no, I soon realized I didn't know where I was. I was having so much fun playing with the deer & my new animal friends that I had gotten so far away from my home & I didn't recognize anything.
I found some people who have been very nice to me; they've been taking really good care of me & treating me great. They sure aren't used to my energy & how I need to follow them everywhere, even to the bathroom!! I think they're getting a little tired of me poking my pointy nose into their legs & rumps.
They're also still trying to figure out what those numbers are on my leg (my tattoo). They're really wonderful people, these nice folks who have been taking care of me, but I really do miss my Mom and Dad, & my brothers and sisters.
And these kind folks who are taking care of me probably don't know how much I bark when I'm alone in the house (their neighbors do!). And they don't know that when I'm scared, I chew my front dew claw so much it comes off and bleeds.
Someone out there knows where I am. PLEASE call my Mom & Dad and let them know how to find me. Please tell them that I'm ok & that I miss them, too!!
Thank you,
